Savings Accounts & CDs

Maximize your savings with various options
Two ways to save

Make saving money easy! Competitive interest rates and low minimums makes saving money hassle-free for a college education, a new car, or to use in the future however you see fit. Open a Savings Account or Certificate of Deposit (CD) to get started.

Besides securing some of the most competitive interest rates paid in the New Jersey and New York area, both savings plans come with:

  • Free 24-hour banking with no ATM charges at ConnectOne ATM
  • Free Online Banking

Certificates of Deposit

  • Open with $500 minimum deposit
  • Earn an interest rate that's fixed for the full term
  • Choose the term that best suits your financial needs
  • Hold on to CDs until maturity to avoid early withdrawal penalties

Statement Savings

  • Open an account with any size balance and earn interest
  • Pay no monthly maintenance fees
  • Access easy-to-read monthly statements
  • Transfer money up to six times per statement cycle*
  • For CD terms 32 days and greater, the interest is compounded daily and posted to the account on a monthly basis
  • For CD terms 7-31 days, the interest is compounded daily and posted to the account weekly

Yes! You will receive an annual statement for your account and one when the CD closes. You will also receive a 1099 form for tax filing purposes.

Ten (10) calendar days from the date of maturity. This includes weekends and holidays. If you do not redeem your CD within the grace period, the CD will automatically renew.

As soon as the account has been funded, you will begin to earn interest.
